Creative Ways of Successful Teaching and Assessments Using Digital Tools in STEM Lessons

This session will explore creative ways of STEM teaching and assessment, with a focus on math and technology. Participants will follow a teaching demonstration with a world-class math teacher, followed by specialists’ sharing on key issues to consider when teaching in hybrid format and inclusive learning environment.

At the end of the session, participants should be able to:

  • Identify a range of practices to implement when delivering effective teaching and learning experiences in hybrid English and STEM classrooms
  • Understand the implications and importance of assessment and measurement in hybrid learning environments
  • Critically assess online teaching pedagogies
  • Understand the importance of education for all, in a hybrid learning context.

  • Pre and in-service K-12 teachers seeking for innovative ways of STEM teaching and assessment
  • School leaders (esp. secondary schools) seeking for innovative teaching and learning methodologies for STEM education
